Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on the severity level of the charge, you may be released on your own personal recognizance (RPR) without having to pay bail. In MN, you are typically given two options for bail – conditional and unconditional. Conditional bail is a smaller number, but you must abide by certain court ordered conditions while your case is pending. An unconditional bail is a much higher number, but you will not be placed on restrictive conditions.
